How to create a PDF graphics:

Feynman diagrams created with the JAXODRAW:
-------------------------------------------

1. create a FD using the JAXODRAW software (freely downloadable from the web)
2. export the picture in the EPS format
3. open the EPS file in the GHOSTVIEW
4. convert the EPS picture to PDF format
   (   i/ click "File"->"Convert"
      ii/ set "Device: pdfwrite" 
     iii/ set "Resolution: 720"
      iv/ set "Fixed Page Size"
       v/ click "OK" )
5. open the PDF picture in the AcrobatReader

If the picture does not fit the page optimally (too large margins, ...):

6. highlight the minimal rectangular surrounding of the picture using "Snapshot Tool"
   of the AcrobatReader; try to get the hight-to-width ratio close to the ratio of
   the A4 paper format
   (  i/ click "Tools"->"Select&Zoom"->"Snapshot Tool"
     ii/ hold the left mouse button an pull the rectangular around the picture
    iii/ click "OK" in the dialog box about copying that will appear
     iv/ click the right mouse button pointing at the highlihted area and choose "print...")
7. print the selected area to a file in the PS format
   (PS-printer dialog box: i/ check "Print to File"
                          ii/ "Page Scaling" set to "Fit to Printable Area"
                         iii/ click "Properties"->"Advanced"->"Postscript Options"->
                              "Postscript Output Options" and select 
                              "Optimize for Portability"
                          iv/ print)
8. open the PS file in the GHOSTVIEW
9. convert the PS picture to the PDF format
   (   i/ click "File"->"Convert"
      ii/ set "Device: pdfwrite" 
     iii/ set "Resolution: 720"
      iv/ set "Fixed Page Size"
       v/ click "OK" )

1. export in the PDF format
   (   i/ click "File"->"Export..."
      ii/ choose the PDF tab

version of AcrobatReader)

   (   i/ click "File"->"Export..."
      ii/ choose the PostScript tab
     iii/ click "Fit to page" button)
2. follow the steps 8 and 9 in Section
   "Feynman diagrams created with the JAXODRAW"
